Since Marsala has been introduced as the color of the year 2015, this color has proved to be gorgeous on its own or in different color combinations. The earthy shade is a pretty dramatic one, best used in residential spaces and homes rather than commercial spaces as it brings in great warmth into home interiors. What fascinates me about this color is how appealing it looks with different shades of blue (I will share examples with you).
Marsala is ideal for your living, dining and / or kitchen. I would totally recommend using it on an accent wall in your room or on your kitchen cabinets. This would give you the option to go with either a matte or a glossy / lacquered finish - will absolutely bring in a look of luxury and glamour!! But if you're not very ready to change your paint you can absolutely get this color integrated in different ways i.e. a rug, some accessories, pillows & throws, drapes or even artwork!
